In 2012 Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay area had the 3rd highest rate of homelessness in the country. How do you begin to make an impact? Start small and work with those that want to help themselves. Our long-term transitional housing and rehabilitation programs (we are NOT a shelter – please First apply to 211 Tampabay Cares (211tampabay.org or T: (727) 442-7926) are not for every one stuck in the vicious cycle of poverty, first prerequisite is that you want to break that cycle. Second and third requirements are you want to restore your life and rebuild your home here in Pinellas County.
We encourage every homeless individual (18 yrs and up, 17 if you are emancipated) or family to apply to our program by filling out the form on our Contact page. We are not presently accepting applications (effective 5/20/15).
We look forward to working with you.
